Biodiversity, Biogeography and Nature Conservation in Wallacea and New Guinea - call for papers

Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to submit research papers for possible inclusion in a first volume of
the new book series “Biodiversity, Biogeography and Nature Conservation in
Wallacea and New Guinea”
(ISBN 978-9984-9768-4-6). The book series will be
dedicated to the taxonomy and systematic of plants and animals as well as
biogeographical, ecological and conservation research of the region of Indo-
Australian transition. This book series will be published on a regular base every 2-4
years. The “Biodiversity, Biogeography and Nature Conservation in Wallacea and
New Guinea” welcomes survey and review papers from senior researchers and
scientists.

Contributors from both zoology and botany (sensu lato) are welcome to contribute
to the current issue. Terrestrial, freshwater and marine ecosystems will be covered.

The main geographical focus of the current issue will include Sulawesi, Lesser Sunda
Islands (also known as Nusa Tenggara), the Moluccas, New Guinea (including Raja
Ampat, Bismarck and Louisiade archipelagoes), and the Solomon Islands.
Biogeographically, this area is commonly known as Wallacea and New Guinea, or as
bioregion of Wallacea and New Guinea. Revisional works may also cover wider
geographical regions with main focus on above mentioned area.

Please inform your intention to submit a paper by e-mail to the chief editor,
including the title of the paper, author(s) names, and abstract. The full manuscript,
as a word file, should be emailed to the chief editor by the deadline indicated below.
